Found this in the Indian Slow Cooker book
Ingredients
- 1 med/small cauliflower head (cut into 1 inch pieces)
- 1 large potato, chopped
- Onions, raw, 1/2 cup to 3/5 cup, chopped
- Serrano Peppers, 1.5 pepper
- Canola oil,1.5 tbsp
- Cumin seed, 0.5 tbsp
- Salt, 0.5 tbsp
- Garlic, 3 cloves
- Ginger, peeled and grated, 1-3 tbsp
- Turmeric, ground, 0.5 tsp
- Pepper, red or cayenne, 0.5 tbsp
Preparation
- Put spices and oil into the crock pot and stir together
- Add potato, onion and pepper to the spice mixture and toss to coat
- Toss cauliflower in with the mixture
- Cook for 3 hours on low. Stir twice in the first hour.
I didn’t cut the serrano peppers when i cut the recipe in half per the instructions, so this bad boy was super hot with a full 3 serranos, and i also cooked it on high for three hours instead of low and it came out just fine, even a little char!
