Found this goodie in an old ww cookbook that my MIL liberated when the point system changed

Turkish-Style Glazed Apricots and Cranberries

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried apricots (cut in quarters)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation:

Step 1

  • Combine the apricots, cranberries, oj, water and 3 tablespoons sugar in a medium sauce pan.
  • Bring contents to a boil over medium high heat.Reduce the heat and simmer covered until the fruit is soft. (about 20 minutes)
  • Transfer the fruit mixture to a bowl and cool.

Step 2

  • Mix together yogurt, remaining 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon

Step 3

  • Split fruit mixture into 4 servings, top with a 1/4th of the yogurt.
