Garlic Cheddar Biscuits
Another great find on Spark People!! I used a mini cookie/melon baller and make about 18 from this recipe! The butter can definitely be cut down, i had a ton left over!
| 1 1/4 c. of light bisquick
1/2 c. grated sharp cheddar (2%)
1/2 c. water
For Garlic Butter:
1/2 stick of light butter
Add bisquick, water, and cheddar cheese to bowl, mix. Drop by tablespoon onto baking sheet lined with parcement paper and spray a little cooking spray to prevent sticking. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 min. While thsee are baking melt 1/2 stick of butter (or light butter) in a microwavable bowl, stir in 1/4 tsp. of garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/8 tsp. of dried parsley.
When biscuits come out of oven place on a platter and brush on garlic butter mixture. This will absorb into the biscuit. Mixture makes 12 small biscuits.
