My last establishment for restaurant week. Started at the bar. The bartender was very attentive (might have been cause i was a single woman in a kick butt red leather jacket….), and I love the atmosphere there. I would definitely go back just for the bar on a week night again.
We had a 7:30 reservation but hoped to get sat early.
As we were led to our seats – WAAAAY in the back by the restroom we passed at least 10 empty tables.
Set menu started with unagi sushi. Interesting strawberry sauce on top – how strange. Tasty but would have like to have some soy sauce with it. I chose the sea bass as the main entrée. Tiny portions. I
can’t say I really needed more food, but for the cost you would have thought maybe a side dish.
Taste was excellent. Husband of my dining partner got the pork which he said had an excellent taste.
Desert was some rather large cookies dipped in chocolate. Not fresh from the oven, but a nice way to end the meal.
All in all it was a nice dining experience but not sure I would go back for anything but the bar.
I have to agree with other reviewers when they indicate it is over prices and over trendy.
But the bathrooms were definitely very fun and cool. There were TV’s in the stalls!
