This is a child hood recipe! I didn’t have this in front of me when I tried it, so the pork chops were a bit dry, but the rice is dang tasty!
I did my normal, sit with a spoon and the pan with all the caked on goodness and scrape till i could only see pan!
6 pork chops
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
1 Cup uncooked rice
3 Cups hot water
In a 13×9 baking dish combine soup mix, soup, rice and water.
Place pork chops on top.
Spoon a little mixture on top of each chop
Cover tightly and bake in 350F oven for 40 minutes
Remove cover and bake another 20 minutes.
