Hubby happened to look up at just the right time at the gym to see a news report stating that Denver was about to get another dussey of a storm.

We hemmed and hawed about the idea of having to end our trip early.

So we watched the news all day and finally around 5pm yesterday decided to move up our flight. We started calling the reservation desk but to no avail.  Couldn’t even get a busy signal. Finally we got through and were happily informed that our wait would be 32 minutes. 32 minutes! ARG!!

Eventually we did get a real person and were able to get a 6am flight the next day.

We arrived at 10am right before the storm!  So again, we are hanging at home with the snow swirling around!

But – we are safe and sound!
