I sent off a note to the Hyatt about the terrible evening as Cascades. Just to make myself feel better since I had been harping over it for a week. (And there was a little note on our final bill giving an email address if there were any comments)

To my surprise, within a couple hours – not long considering the time difference – I had an email stating that they were terribly sorry and were going to refund the price of the dinner.

Hubby and I were shocked, and pleasantly surprise and of course now they are not completely crossed off our list of places to visit again!

The other fun I had today was getting my new kiln shelves! Took an hour drive each way with 7 cops on the way there and 4 cops on the way back.  Oooofa! But the shelves are all safely tucked into my car, along with more clay and some tools!  If the guy had left me alone for maybe 10 more minutes I would have bought another 100 dollars worth of stuff!

So tonight I glaze, glaze, glaze! Then fire, fire fire!

If you don’t know, I have been invited to sell my wares at a vendor party of a local chamber woman! Therefore, I need stuff to sell!!!  I’m excited and nervous all at the same time! I’ll be making as much as I can before then!
